ACS On-line Classes: Sneak Preview

The American Cancer Society is developing online classes for cancer survivors and caregivers. The classes cover many topics, including learning about cancer, pain, nutrition, and cancer treatments. Before we make them available to the public, we are asking CSN members to review one or more classes and give us feedback. On average, it takes about 30 minutes to review a class and complete a brief survey. Please contact Kristi Richardson by July 17 at 404-929-6801 or kristi.richardson@cancer.org if you are interested in helping with this project.

CSN Survey: Coming soon to an in-box near you

Your CSN staff is teaming up with ACS Behavioral Research Center staff to conduct a CSN membership survey. For a variety of reasons, we don’t know as much about the demographics of our entire membership as we’d like, or what the majority interests are with regard to cancer survivorship issues. We’ll be piloting a brief membership survey with 200 randomly selected CSN members this month. After making any necessary tweaks, we’ll be emailing the survey to all CSN members for whom we have a valid email address.

If you receive the CSN newsletter, we have your valid email address, but nearly half of our membership doesn’t receive a newsletter because they haven’t kept us informed about changes in their email address. Please encourage your CSN buddies to make sure we have their current email address. It can be updated on the CSN profile page. The link to the profile page is on your CSN Start Page. Thanks!
