Your Car Can Help Drive the Fight Against Cancer

Donor Testimonial

My name is Meredith Monica and I am a cancer survivor.

Recently, I donated my treasured 1989 BMW convertible to the American Cancer Society. My son Kregg gave this car to me one Mother's Day so there were very special memories attached to it.

The thought of selling this special gift did not feel right. I talked with my son and he was all for the idea of donating to the American Cancer Society. My other children were equally in favor of my decision.

As a cancer survivor, I feel blessed and extremely grateful. I constantly reflect on my good fortune and often ask myself, “How can I give back and express my gratitude for life?” Donating my car to the American Cancer Society is my way of giving so more can be done for others. This is such an easy way to support the efforts of the American Cancer Society in their quest to reduce cancer incidence while funding lifesaving research.

I truly urge others to donate their vehicles. Completing the donation process with American Cancer Society staff is quite easy, giving generates a great feeling of fulfillment, and recognizing the benefits that will be received by others is overwhelming.
