The best defense against breast cancer is to detect it as early as possible, when it is easiest to treat. If you are 40 or older, be sure to get a mammogram every year.

This year, more than 212,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and nearly 41,000 women will die from the disease.

That's why I'm sending you this special message today, and will be sending important information in the mail this month--because we should do everything we can to help eliminate this terrible disease.
